Continentalic acid from Aralia continentalis has minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of approximately 8-16 μg/mL against S. aureus, including the Methicillin susceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) and Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) standard strains[1].
