Cholesteryl eicosapentaenoate levels are elevated 1.89-fold in the serum of pediatric patients with extrahepatic biliary atresia and decreased in the serum and plasma of patients with Alzheimer's disease and abetalipoproteinemia, respectively, compared with healthy individuals.
